Lebo will roll out its fifth annual Hometown Gravel Grind 16-mile bike ride July 5 .
The ride event is part of the wide range of activities occurring in the Lebo community on the Fourth of July weekend.
“We created the Gravel Grind in hopes to have another event in our community and just kind of give something fun for the families to do,” said Bonnie Vannocker, director of the Lebo branch of the Coffey County Library. “It’s obviously not as big as Unbound Gravel, but it’s not really a race but a ride, and we have it at night. It’s beautiful at night.”
There will also be a run for the more bipedally inclined, and where kids, can also participate.
