  • Jennifer Heuhl from Sylvan Grove, Kansas – discussing the role Sylvan Grove Community Trail and what it means for community and rural vibrance.

EPISODE THREE: PARTNERING WITH LOCAL GOVERNMENTS

Trail Talk Tuesday returns on September 9 at 12 PM CST with a focus on one of the most important steps in building trails: working with local governments. From navigating city approvals to county collaborations, this episode will dig into what it takes to bring trail projects to life across Kansas. 

EPISODE 2: Flint Hills Trail

Kansas Trails Inc. proudly presents Episode 2 of Trail Talk Tuesday, dedicated to celebrating one of Kansas’ most iconic outdoor treasures — the Flint Hills Trail, recently inducted into the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy Hall of Fame! Join host Brittney Holum as we welcome three incredible guest speakers who each bring a unique perspective and wealth of knowledge about the trail: Jeff Bender, Michele Silsbee, and Jeff Carroll. The episode also features updates from Mike Scanlon, KTI Executive Director and Mike Goodwin, KTI Board Chairman and a fantastic Q&A Session.

We were thrilled to welcome trail advocates, planners, and outdoor enthusiasts from across the state for an inspiring and informative conversation.
