Everything your group needs to build a natural surface trail — tools, equipment, and expert guidance. Just add volunteers!
How it works
Would your group like to build a natural surface trail, but lack the necessary equipment? Our Trail In A Box equipment loan program puts professional-grade tools in your hands — here’s how to get started. This trail building resource is available to Kansas Trails members. If you’re not already a member click HERE to join.
We’ll review your project and contact you to work out the details and timeline for your trail build.
Once your trail project is approved by your land manager and we have approved your application, we will loan your group Trail In A Box and work with you and your volunteers to get started. Our trail building experts will demonstrate the safe operation of all equipment and discuss best practices for building sustainable natural surface trails. We provide the equipment and expertise — you provide the volunteers!
